The privilege of having met with Attorney General Rob Bonta reminded me the old saying - “Never forget your roots”, besides from him being Filipino in blood, I find him to be one of the most inspiring individuals who has never lose touch with their past, acknowledging the influence of their heritage has on their present and future identity. As he confirmed it was not an easy journey to get into the path of success especially during the transition of coming from your roots to migrating America at a very young age. But there were three things he has mentioned that simply shaped his destination for success - appreciating your cultural origins, hard work and perseverance.
